I have asked any students (or parents) who aren't comfortable with carpooling, to let me know and we will make a plan. The performance is at 1 and we should be back by 4th block or shortly after the beginning of 4th. Percussion Ensemble and Chamber music concert - Thursday, April 18th This concert is coming up soon! We hope you will join us with one of our favorite concerts of the year at 7:00 pm in the auditorium. In addition to our percussion ensemble performing, we open this concert to solos, duets, and other small groups to perform! Students who would like to sign up to perform, need to sign up here. Solo and Ensemble - May 4th Solo and Ensemble is another optional opportunity students have. This year it is Saturday, May 4th at Priceville High School. Students must provide their own transportation to and from the event. The cost is $10 per solo and $5 per person, per event for performances involving more than 1 student and will be charged to your charms account. Tri-M Honor Society Tri-M is a national music honor society. We have a chapter here at Huntsville that Mrs. Coleman (our choir director) sponsors. It is a service organization. Saturday-Winter Guard Competition at Columbia-Central HS in Columbia, TN Music Performance Assessment (MPA) Symphonic Band will perform Wednesday, March 6th at 1:45 pm at James Clemens HS Auditorium Wind Ensemble will perform Wednesday, March 6th at 3:45 pm at James Clemens High School Auditorium This is a required performance for all band students (except color guard only members). Schedule 8:30 am - Arrive at school as normal. Bring your garment back with your concert uniform, shoes, and all accessories and hang them in the band room. 11:00 am - students excused from class - go eat early lunch in the cafeteria. This is a "normal" lunch. Most instruments and percussion equipment will be put in the truck. You are responsible for making sure your instrument and music get to James Clemens. Make sure you have ALL parts to the tuxedo, proper black shoes, black socks for tuxedos, and all the parts! Students should pull hair out of your face and no jewelry.
