WE NEED YOU to sign up for volunteer shifts at Summer Band Camp.
CONTACT Audrey Beumer - or sign in through CHARMS and select the CALENDAR option! Inside the CALENDAR, please click on the HAND on the date(s) of your choosing to volunteer for a shift! This is a wonderful way to round out your summer by volunteering in a very positive environment - with great energy from those who participate. Guaranteed to be the best part of your day!

We are looking forward to kicking off the 2021-22 edition of the Huntsville High Band tomorrow morning. This first week of camp is very important for parents of all band students - including those just doing concert band. Our fittings nights and our major band parent meeting for the year are all this week!
Uniform Fitting Days are Monday (Seniors and Juniors), Tuesday (Sophomores), and Wednesday (Freshmen) from 4-7. These days are MUCH MORE than just fitting for uniforms as you will see below. It is extremely important for parents (not just students) to be there. If you have a conflict with your assigned day/time please attend on another day.
You have 6 stations to visit once you arrive!
Station 1 - Forms and Volunteering - ALL BAND STUDENTS/PARENTS (including concert only)
Audrey Beumer, our vice president of volunteers, will have the band forms for the year for both PARENTS and STUDENTS to sign! You'll also find out about volunteering opportunities within the band. Students are not allowed to attend any football game until these forms are completed.
We are still looking for volunteers for band camp especially the morning sessions!
Station 2 - Charms - ALL BAND STUDENTS/PARENT (including concert only)
Our charms expert and band booster secretary, Kelly Hudson, will verify contact information with you. We will make sure you can get our band calendar synced with your smart phone. She will also help introduce you to charms and show you the ropes if needed!
Station 3 - Polo Shirts - ALL BAND STUDENTS/PARENTS (including concert only)
Every student in the HHS Band must own a HHS Band polo shirt. If you are a returning member, you should already have one. New members will need to purchase one for $35. We also have limited used shirts on sale as well. Returning members have the option to purchase a new shirt.
Station 4 - Band Merchandise - ORDER EARLY - DELIVERY WEEK 2 OF CAMP!
We encourage you to purchase band swag!
Car Magnets - nothing shows your support for the program 24/7 than a quality full color 5" magnet!

Stadium Cups - Your beverages taste better in blue and white stadium cups!
Lanyards - Quality HHS Band lanyards for keys or ID - by section! Percussion, Guard, Low Brass, Woodwinds! These are MUST HAVES for your band student!
Clear bags - Safe to entry into Milton Frank Stadium - these purse sized bags tote your gear to the games!
Sunglasses - HHS Branded sunglasses sure to get you through bright times on the practice field!
Phone Wallets - Your phone looks even better with HHS Band phone wallets! Sure to please!
Station 5 - Uniform Fitting - MARCHING BAND STUDENTS ONLY
Mrs. Eversole, Mrs. Jackson and their volunteers will get your student fitted for their marching uniform.
Station 6 - Check out Band Dues and Payments for your items - ALL BAND STUDENTS/PARENTS (including concert only)
Make sure you bring a check book. The 2nd of 3 band booster payments is due tonight for $200. The first payment was due at the end of last school year ($200) and the last payment will be due at the Fall Concert in November! Brenda Tapia will be there to answer all your financial questions including how to read your charms account! This is where you will also pay for your shirt and band merchandise.
