Senior Night! If you have not been contacted via email concerning senior night and you are a senior or a senior parent, please email Christy Rainey @ [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Volunteer Needed: Senior Night is this Friday! Our senior band members and their families are recognized for their contributions. Our parent in charge of senior night is a senior parent. We need a parent willing to direct the seniors and their families on the field that night. If you are willing, please contact Christ Rainey at [email protected]. Ideally, this would be someone who would be willing to be the coordinator next year. So, a sophomore or freshman parent would be ideal, but a junior parent would be great, too. All information will be provided. You just need a desire to help and a willingness to direct. Directors' Notes! Stuart Tankesley & Holly Connell
From Darin Miller, BPA President [email protected]Thanks to everyone who attended our virtual Band Parents Association meeting on Tuesday night. After receiving the email votes we received unanimous YES on our band budget for this year. Thank you for voting. Here is the link to the budget so that you can have it as reference during the year. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NcAA8XVy8JU5ZVE_CN-_hJn1hPFpvXLJ2doIYUaV3RU/edit?usp=sharing Also, a very good question was raised by one of our parents about how we ensure checks and balances so that all money is accounted for and safe. Here is a list of precautions that we take to make sure everything is above board. 1. Darin, Brenda and Beth are all on all 3 accounts. BBVA checking,BBVA MM, Bryant Bank Checking 2. Brenda sends all the bank statements to Darin and Beth Monthly for review 3. Brenda, Beth, and Darin have access to the Bryant bank check register online, as well as the Band Finance spreadsheet (where all checks, debits or money out of the Band is logged) 4. Brenda, Beth, and Darin have access to all accounts online and can see all activity Also, we are getting quotes to make sure that people who are in touch with the money are bonded. We will keep you posted on that process as we have progress. FUNDRAI$ING! - Chairs: Elena Barbre [email protected] |
