Tuesday: 7:45 AM - STUDENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED to unload trucks. 8:00 am leadership team meeting. Competition Band Rehearsal 4:00-5:45. Guard Sectional 6-7 Wednesday: Off Thursday: Competition Band Rehearsal 4:00-5:45. Friday: Game vs. Bob Jones (Madison City Stadium) Saturday: Boston Butt Pick Up 9-11 am Freshman Academy Portico Next Football Band After school rehearsal: WEDNESDAY, September 15th (homecoming rehearsal). 4:00-5:00 pm  Game Day Schedule vs Bob Jones September 10, 2021Schedule 3:40 pm - School ends. Go grab something to eat somewhere close to the school or bring some extra food! 4:45 - 5 pm - Students back at school and get your uniform pants on (bibbers) and shoes. You can travel with your uniform jacket on its hanger on the bus. Guard should receive additional instructions. 5:15 pm Depart for Madison City Stadium (211 Celtic Dr. Madison, Al) on School buses. 5:45 pm Arrive at Madison City Stadium. Unload instruments and equipment. 6:15 pm - Warm up 6:30 pm - Line up to March in 7:00 pm Game Starts Halftime performance (we perform 1st). We are planning to perform to the Home side (press box). Bob Jones band performs 2nd. ~9:30 pm Game ends 10:45 pm - Approximate arrival time at HHS (will send out a REMIND when we depart). Location: Madison City Stadium (211 Celtic Dr. Madison, Al) Uniform FULL MARCHING UNIFORM! Make sure you bring your uniform to school Friday morning in it's bag. You can hang up your uniform in the racks in the band room. Winds and percussion: Make sure you have your shako (hat), longer black socks, marching shoes, and gloves. Front ensemble is wearing their special uniform. Guard will get any additional instructions on their groupme. Dinner Information Please plan to eat dinner between 3:40 - 5:00 pm. We are on a very tight schedule, so please don't be late getting back to the school! You have a few options here - bring food from home and never leave the school, have food delivered by your parents to the school right after school, or leave and go to a fast food restaurant within a mile or two of the school with a dining room open (the mall is a good option). Transportation School Buses - depart from and return to the band room. Please park in the parking spots in the parking lot when picking your student up. Do not park on Billie Watkins St. or in the bus loop for student safety. Other information Bring your full water jug to the game.  From [email protected] & [email protected]GAME CHANGE!!!! The game at Albertville that is now scheduled for Friday, October 1st has BEEN MOVED BACK to Thursday, October 2nd. The game is still in Albertville. I think this will be better for most people anyway since you can get an earlier start to your fall break after school finishes on Friday. This change was due to a lack of referees available on Friday in the Albertville area. Don't shoot the messenger! Fall Break Game We have a game during Fall Break on Friday, October 8th against Austin at Austin High School. As with years past, we will be taking a volunteer pep band to this game and will not be performing halftime. We ask that if you are in town to please attend the game! We will be asking students about their commitment in the next couple of weeks so we can secure the correct number of school buses and plan for the game. September 14 - Booster Board Meeting September 24th - no game/bye week. Possible rehearsal for competition September 25th - Marching Competition at Gadsden (plan for a full day event). Wednesday, September 29th - Performance at the HCMS vs. HJHS Game at Milton Frank Trucks arrive at 5:30, Students meet at 6:00 pm. Game at 6:30. We are performing halftime show! Thursday, September 30th - Game vs. Albertville at Albertville HS.
