October 24th is the final deadline to have all orders in. Chuckwagon will be providing our butts this year and pick up will be on November 4 in front of the Freshman Academy from 9-11. London T-Shirt Sign Up (google.com) Uniform RemindersPlease remember that the uniforms are dry clean only! You may get it cleaned, as needed, during the season but no washing at home. Wednesday-Homecoming Rehearsal 4-5. Thursday-No rehearsal. Parade line up at 5:30 pm. Friday- 2 pep band performances - 8:00 am courtyard performance and 8 am performance at Blossomwood. The performance in the courtyard is open to any band student. Blossomwood - seniors only (students drive). Game vs. Florence (Homecoming) at Milton Frank Schedule Changes for November and December / London Parade Because we are combining bands (and the choir joining us) for the Winter Concert and because we are adding parade rehearsals for London, we are editing the November and early December schedule. Week of November 6-10 Monday - Symphonic Band 4:00-5:30 Tuesday - Fall Concert 7:00 pm Thursday - no rehearsals Saturday - Veteran's Day parade. Week of November 13-17 Monday - All band students (no color guard) - Winter Concert rehearsal 4:00-5:30 Tuesday - Wind Ensemble - CBDNA rehearsal 4:00 - 5:30 Thursday - London parade rehearsal 4-5 pm (London students only). London meeting at 6! Color guard in stadium uniform 5:30 pm - go to line up point (by baseball fields close to Bob Wallace) 6:00 pm - Parade kicks off. We are usually at the front 7:00 pm - parade ends. go home! Uniform Full uniform. Color Guard in stadium uniform. Parade Route Gameday Information - Friday Schedule 8:30 am - arrive to school as normal. Make sure you have all of your uniform and accessories unless you plan to go home after school. Load Trucks - "A" Day Load with pep rally 3:40 pm - School dismisses. 5:15 pm - Trucks arrive. 5:30 pm- Meet at Milton Frank and unload trucks. 5:45 pm - Warmups - Section and band warmups 6:30 pm - Enter Stadium. We will be performing our halftime show BEFORE the game 7:00 pm - Game Starts. Homecoming halftime show. ~9:30 pm - Game ends, load, and dismiss. Unload trucks back at school. Food Eat before/after the game. Bring your water bottle to the game! Uniform Full band uniform. Color Guard will wear STADIUM UNIFORM (with black leggings). Bring your uniform in your garment bag with all accessories (shoes, black socks, shako, gloves, gauntlets). Hair should be pulled back out of your face (including guys with long hair) and no jewelry. Pierced ears can be covered with band aids. Hoover Competition - Saturday, October 21st Tentative schedule 8:00 am - band room open 8:45 - 10:45 am - rehearsal 10:45 - 12:15 - lunch (you may leave or bring your own lunch) 12:15 pm - meet in band room 12:30 pm - Depart for Hoover Met Stadium. 2:30 pm - Arrive, unload, warm up. 4:45 pm - Performance 5:15 pm - change, eat dinner at concessions.
