Our students crushed week one of band camp — mastering marching basics and diving into show music!

​HHS Band Friends and Family Picnic on July 31

Please plan on attending the HHS Band Fall Preview Show and Picnic on July 31 @ 6:00.

​We would like to offer you the option to pre-order dinner as a fundraiser for the band. Please complete this form for each person (only one form necessary when pre-ordering a whole pizza).  Option will be $6 for two slices of pizza and a drink or you can pre-order a large pizza for $20 with 4 drinks.

Please order by July 27th and Venmo @HuntsvilleHS-BandParentAssoc upon completion of the order.

Fall Marching Band Pictures - July 29

Mandatory marching band pictures will be taken according to the following schedule on July 29:

• Seniors: 4:00pm - 4:20pm
• Juniors: 4:20pm - 4:40pm
• Sophomores: 4:40pm - 5:00pm
• Freshman: 5:00pm - 5:30pm

12:00 pm  Dismiss from Band Camp
2:30 pm  Meet back in the Band Room
3:00 pm Depart for Nashville
4:30 pm Stop at Cool Springs Galleria for dinner
5:30 pm  Depart for Stadium
6:00 pm   Arrive at Nissan Stadium
7:30 pm   Welcome and National Anthem
10:15 pm Scores Announced
10:45 pm Depart
12:45 am Arrival back at school

The following people are heading to Nashville on Friday for the Drum Corps Competition:

Band Schedules
Students will receive schedules this week.  For those in marching band, Students will be allowed to leave rehearsal, go grab your schedule, then return.  As a reminder, many times schedules are not correct when you pick them up.  If your schedule is not correct (band or otherwise) make sure you fill out a change form when you receive your schedule.  Most of these errors are related to the computer program or a change made over the summer that has not been updated.  Our terrific counselors will work very hard to get these correct.

Our Band Schedule is:

"A " Day
1st Block   Concert Band and 9th grade percussion.
2nd Block  Symphonic Band
3rd Block   Wind Ensemble
4th Block   Planning

"B" Day
1st Block  Marching Band Class for Brass and Woodwinds
2nd Block Planning
3rd Block Color Guard
4th Block  Marching Percussion

**Students in marching band (excluding color guard) should be in an "A" Day and "B" Day Class
**Students in Concert only should be in an "A" Day class only**
